Contract J.A.C.K. (Just Another Contract Killer) is a first-person shooter video game, a prequel to No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy In H.A.R.M.'s Way. The game was developed by Monolith Productions and released by VU Games in 2003.
The main protagonist is a contract killer named John Jack, who gets recruited by H.A.R.M. to sabotage a rival criminal organization called Danger Danger. Unlike NOLF and NOLF2, this game does not involve sneaking.
The following weapons can be seen in the video game Contract J.A.C.K.:
IMI/Magnum Desert Eagle Mark XIX
The nickel Desert Eagle Mark XIX is the default handgun in the game. While it is called ".50 Pistol", in reality it is the .357 Magnum variant, noted by its fluted barrel and 9-round capacity. The gun operates in DAO (instead of the correct SA), and the slide locks back automatically when a reload is initiated. The pistol fires continuously if the fire key is held.
This gun is anachronistic for the game: Although it is never mentioned when does the game take place, some missions involve "sneaking" into a Czechoslovak military base. On 1 January 1993, Czechoslovakia split into Czech Republic and Slovakia, but the Mark XIX variant of the Desert Eagle was not introduced until 1995.
Thompson Center Arms Contender
The Thompson Center Arms Contender appears in the game as the "Corrector." The in-game version fires High Explosive bullets (known simply as "HE") and is fitted with a scope. Ammo for it is very scarce.
Beretta Cheetah
Volkov is seen with a Beretta Cheetah pistol with wooden grips in the outro of the game. The exact variant and caliber is unknown.
Ithaca 37
The sawed-off Ithaca 37 appear in the game as "Combat Shotgun". Despite having a sawed-off barrel (and tubular mag), the gun somehow manages to hold 8 shells at max. Can fire normal and phosphorus shells.
AK-47
The AK-47 is used by Czechoslovak soldiers. Fires in 2-round burst when the mouse is clicked.
The default ammo for it is labeled as "7.62". Can also fire "7.62x39" rounds, witch are incendiary rounds with high damage and can set targets on fire.
Colt M1921AC Thompson
The M1921AC Thompson returns from NOLF2, this time called simply ".45 SMG". Fires in 2-round burst when the mouse is clicked. Used by elite Danger Danger operatives. This is easily the most powerful weapon in the game, excluding the two fictional guns; the Plasma Cannon and Pulse Rifle.
Sterling L2A3
The Sterling L2A3 appears as "9mm SMG" in the game, and is used by possibly every faction, including Czechoslovak soldiers, Danger Danger troopers, mobsters and everyone else. Fires in 3-round burst when the mouse is clicked.
Sterling L34A1
The Sterling L34A1 is known as "Silenced SMG" in the game. Fires in 3-round burst when the mouse is clicked.
Steyr SSG 69 PII
The Steyr SSG 69 PII is known in the game as the "Sniper Rifle". Comes with 10-round magazines (which are now discontinued). The in-game variant is chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO (which is known as ".308" in the game, so that players do not confuse it with the AK-47's "7.62" ammo).
Mills Bomb
The Mills Bomb is known as "Frag" in the game.
MK3A2
The MK3A2 offensive grenade appears incorrectly as "Incendiary" in the game.
Flashbang
The flashbang can blind and stun enemies.
C4 Charge
High explosive demo charge, that can only be planted at predefined locations.
