Rifle Misidentification
I've seen this movie, and Louise Desfontaines doesn't use a MAS-36 when she is covering her husband, it was a Lee-Enfield No. 4 MK 1.--Phillb36 21:31, 1 March 2012 (CST)
Thanks,in the dark he's a hard something difficult to see, I was in it, that is still the same gun ... --Pandolfini 08:18, 2 March 2012
- Also, the P38 isn't one. There is no slide safety, the front sight is mounted directly to the barrel without the "bridge" at the end of the slide and the length of slide behind the barrel is too short for a P38. I can't for the life of me work out what it is though. --commando552 04:30, 2 March 2012 (CST)
- It looks like a suppressed Beretta M1934. --Funkychinaman 08:51, 2 March 2012 (CST)
- That was my first though, but I don't think it is. Firstly I can't see the part of the slide with the sight on that goes over the muzzle on a M1934. It is possible that it is there but the lighting is making it blend into the barrel but there are more differences. The slide sticks out farther from the front of the frame on an M1934 and the front of the slide on an M1934 narrows level with the front of the frame, and neither of these features are present on this gun. The opening of the slide on the M1934 is scalloped as well, as opposed to on this gun where it looks like it is just a straight step down, and you can see way too much of the barrel for this to be an M1934. If this is an M1934, it has had some pretty significant modifications to the slide. --commando552 10:27, 2 March 2012 (CST)
- I see what you mean. Oh well. --Funkychinaman 10:34, 2 March 2012 (CST)
- FIE Titan? --Funkychinaman 10:52, 2 March 2012 (CST)
- It could be but there are still a few things wrong. On the FIE Titan (or Tanfoglio GT27, Titan is just what FIE import/assemble it as in America) the slide serrations do not come as for forward as on the movie gun, where they are almost to the rear end of the barrel. Also the sights are wrong, being slightly further forward and appearing to be a separate dovetailed on part as opposed to the integral Titan. Again, the top of the slide still looks too high above the barrel, but this could be the angle playing tricks on me. --commando552 11:56, 2 March 2012 (CST)

I know that. I can't come in here and I'm waiting who could handle it. If I there's no upload at all, it but don't find out. --Pandolfini 12:48, 2 March 2012 (CST)
- It's not one, but it kind of reminds me of an Arrizabalaga Sharpshooter. Nyles
U.S. version
I'd like to see this movie now. It appears that it isn't actually avilable in the U.S. Anyone know if that's correct. I did a search and struck out for a U.S. region DVD. --Jcordell 05:11, 6 March 2012 (CST)
- If you look on Amazon, it appears to only be available on bluray in the U.S. If you want a regular DVD version, I think you're out of luck. I've never found one, that's why I bought the region 2 DVD from Amazon UK.--Phillb36 07:24, 6 March 2012 (CST)
- I was afraid of that. Thanks. --Jcordell 03:39, 7 March 2012 (CST)
- Well from what I have seen of it on You tube it looks pretty good. Sadly I don't own a Blueray player. Oh well. --Jcordell 19:52, 11 March 2012 (CDT)
- The region 2 disc will probably play on your PC if you use VLC Player. I know this because I have played R2 discs on my PC using VLC, that's how I was able to get screenshots for The Professionals TV show.--Phillb36 21:41, 12 March 2012 (CDT)
Missing Weapons
There are a few weapons in the movie that I noticed aren't listed on the page. Pierre used a Browning Hi-Power in a couple of scenes, most prominently during the rescue of the geologist. There was also the wardrobe full of weapons, and clearly seen were a couple of Smith & Wesson Victory Model revolvers, an M1A1 carbine, and what was either FN Model 1922 or MAB Model D.--Phillb36 07:41, 21 March 2012 (CDT)
Pierre - I do not know that actor, sorry for ignore but what about those weapons fell out of the closet know. They are not on the page because there is never used. In the film Atentát (my new) also missing caps from scene how Heydrich with Jacobi together control a Sten, but are not listed there - cause not used it.--Pandolfini 16:22, 21 March 2012 (CDT)
