Righteous Kill
Righteous Kill is a 2008 crime thriller that reunited actors Robert De Niro and Al Pacino onscreen for the first time since 1995's Heat. In the film, De Niro and Pacino co-star as NYPD detectives who investigate a series of murders whose victims turn out to be notorious criminals. In the course of their investigation, the detectives come to the realization that the prime suspect may be one of their own.
The following weapons were used in the film Righteous Kill:
WARNING! SPOILERS AHEAD!
Glock 19
One of the approved firearms for the NYPD in real life, "Turk" (Robert De Niro) and "Rooster" (Al Pacino) carry the 2nd generation Glock 19 as their standard sidearms. Detectives Perez (John Leguizamo) and Riley (Donnie Wahlberg) also carry the Glock.
Glock 26
One of the weapons approved for off-duty carry by the NYPD in real life, Detective Karen Corelli (Carla Gugino) can be seen carrying a subcompact Glock 26 near the end of the film, which she gives to Turk. Turk is seen using it in the ending scene at Spider's (50 Cent) club, when he holds it on before the other detectives run in.
Smith & Wesson 5906
A 9mm Smith & Wesson 5906 pistol is among the guns fired on the firing range. This is one of the early third generations with a hooked trigger guard and a regular (non-Novak LoMount) rear sight.
Smith & Wesson Model 36
A Smith & Wesson Model 36 is pulled on Detective Perez (John Leguizamo).
Colt Python
Spider's friend uses a Colt Python to fire at Turk and Rooster.
Colt Commander
A suppressed stainless Colt Commander is a weapon left by the killer at a crime scene.
Colt Gold Cup National Match
A Colt Gold Cup National Match (a similar handgun can be seen in The Long Kiss Goodnight) is also seen in the hands of the serial killer.
Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW
In the opening scene, "Turk" and "Rooster" fire Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDWs when they practice their marksmanship on the range.
Olympic Arms K23B
Similar to the weapon used in The Departed, Turk and Rooster use Olympic Arms K23B machine guns while practicing their marksmanship at the range. One of them has an A2 receiver like it should, the other has an A1 receiver. You can tell it is a K23B because its Handguard is far too short, and too smooth to be a Colt.
