Charlie Chan in the Secret Service (1944)

Charlie Chan in the Secret Service ...

The following firearms were used in the film Charlie Chan in the Secret Service:

Luger P08

A long barreled Luger P08 is seen twice in the film. Once when it is placed in the safe, and in a continuity error, becomes a Smith & Wesson M&P revolver, and again as a spring loaded gun used to kill of the suspects.

Chan sniffs to muzzle to see if the Luger had been fired. He determines that is is a spring-powered gun.

Smith & Wesson M&P revolver

A Smith & Wesson M&P revolver is seen twice as well. First in the aforementioned continuity error above, and as Charlie Chan's (Sidney Toler) service weapon. In yet another continuity error, his service weapon morphs into a Colt Official Police once it's on the wall.

Chan draws and unloads his M&P. He then places what is presumably a blank round from his other pocket and places his revolver where the Luger had been hanging. The rounds seen appear to be .38 Special.

Colt Official Police

Chan's Smith & Wesson M&P revolver morphs into a Colt Official Police once is it on the wall.

The killer fires from behind the curtain. It's impossible to tell which actor this is.
