I recall an entire discussion in the forum regarding indirect fire weapons. Of note: "I'm basically of the same opinion. I think it's fine to mention the indirect fire weapons on page, and point out interesting trivia about them specifically, but I don't think they warrant their own page - it's not really the purpose of the site, and it opens up an entirely new can of worms." That's straight from the Bunni's mouth. --Funkychinaman 05:43, 25 November 2011 (CST)

On the other hand we've had mortar pages forever, and mortars are field artillery. Plus the one that's actually listed here has appeared in three movies. I think this bears discussion, but I'm not going to instantly delete it without finding out what the other mods think. Personally I don't think the ZiS-3 needs its own page, but I don't see the harm in it either. EDIT: As for the 45mm AT gun that's just been added, that's basically a direct fire weapon. I'm inattentively read the Rules, Standards and Principles. Indeed pages with an artillery would be superfluous. You can delete those articles created by me. Bednardos 08:22, November 2011 (CST)
