That's NOT a Remington 870

The 870 doesn't have an extension of the magazine tube ahead of the foregrip in the NON-HIGH cap version. If the cop is in stand by mode, then the forearm is fully extended to the front indicating that a round is already in the chamber. But the mag tube looks more like a Mossberg 500. The kicker is that the ejection port doesn't look like a Mossberg. So I'm not sure, except that it is definitely NOT an 870.  :) MoviePropMaster2008 03:20, 1 September 2011 (CDT)

It kind of looks like this shotgun. --Ben41 04:17, 1 September 2011 (CDT)

Uh, no Ben41, I think that gun is ALSO a remington 870. Albeit a shortbarreled one with a foregrip attached. The reason why I said the gun on the movie page wasn't is illustrated below:

the gun in the movie still has a several inch gap between the end of the forearm and the mag tube cap. Come to think of it, the gun MIGHT be a Mossberg 500 in the movie. MoviePropMaster2008 07:21, 1 September 2011 (CDT)

Colt Model 727?

I don't think the one used by Alex has a removable carry handle, it looks like it has the grenade launcher cuts on the barrel. Colt 727?--Predator20 15:11, 1 September 2011 (CDT)

You are right. It does not have a removable carry handle ... AND the buttstock is the old school XM177 type, not the newer LE/M4 Type. So it's NOT a 727. MoviePropMaster2008 15:40, 1 September 2011 (CDT)
