Rescue Me (2004-2011)


Rescue Me is an American drama series that stars Denis Leary as Tommy Gavin, a firefighter with the FDNY who struggles with his addictions while continuing to deal with the lingering effects of being on the job during 9/11. He also periodically encounters ghosts of people he's met who have died, including his cousin and best friend, who was killed at the World Trade Center. The series aired in the United States on the FX Network from 2004-2011.
