Color Me Blood Red is a low-budget splatter movie from director Herschell Gordon Lewis, part of his 1960s "Blood" trilogy, which also included Blood Feast (1963), and Two Thousand Maniacs! (1964). It follows a struggling painter who discovers that human blood works incredibly in his paintings, making him a success. He begins hunting down young people to support his growing need for blood in his artwork.

Cooey Model 600

Adam Sorg (Gordon Oas-Heim) keeps a Cooey Model 600 on a shelf in his house. In the finale, it is picked up by Jack (Jim Jaekel) and held on him, eventually using it to shoot him in the head. This is still up for debate, though.
