Talk:(Metro 2033) - Kalash 2012
I'm gonna be harsh, so might want to stop reading now. What is the point of this page? Every second video game on imfdb.org has at least one fictional or hybrid gun. Some examples: The "Heckler & Koch MP9" or "Colt Rangemaster" guns in the first Fallout games, the Beretta/Desert hybrid in Black, the slightly altered guns in SoF Payback, Crysis 2, bla-bla-bla. Not to mention that this page has got only one entry. Yeah, maybe it will appear in the sequel, but that is still only two. I'm protesting to destroy this page right here, right now, but of course, if you can come up with a good reason no to... - bozitojugg3rn4ut 16:52, 9 July 2011 (CDT)
Then why have pages for weapons like the .88 Magnum in Johnny Dangerously, or that SMG from Deep Rising? Why have any pages for custom/hybrid weapons if they most likely appear in one movie? If we get rid of this page, we gotta look at all the ones like it. BeardedHoplite 19:15, 9 July 2011 (CDT)
BeardedHoplite, the reason the pages you listed as examples are still here, is because they're actual physical props used on the set. Hodgepodge weapons in a video game don't. --HashiriyaR32 21:52, 9 July 2011 (CDT)
I have to agree, I'd say nuke it. - Mr. Wolf 22:19, 9 July 2011 (CDT)
Indeed, now if they made Metro 2033 (or another) movie with actual actors holding the actual prop of the gun - that would be another story. As of now this is just an imaginary piece of work, limited to video games, and as such does not qualify for its own page. --Masterius 01:39, 11 July 2011 (CDT)
