Talk:Assassination Device
Someone needs to change the name from "Asassination Device" to "Assassination Device," which is the correct spelling. I have no idea how. Mazryonh 04:17, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
'Asassination' is anyway better than 'assassinaction' or 'assasinnation'.
Okay, now that this page has been properly titled, I must say it's still woefully underpopulated. Why isn't there mention of the "Golden Gun" from the James Bond movie "The Man with the Golden Gun," or the "Thermos Gun" from "Alien: Resurrection," for instance? The Golden Gun even has its own entry on this wiki and has had many homages in games to this day! I'm sure there are plenty of other disguised (NOT merely concealable) firearms in spy, crime-related, or thriller movies that could be included here on this page.
Here's an interesting vid of a real-life firearm disguised in a briefcase, which might have been used in a film: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vycUFoQChqY
Here's also hoping that this page will be filled out more completely soon.Mazryonh 03:07, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
Real vs props
Some of these devices are based on real devices, like a pen gun, or a bike pump gun, and others are just crazy James Bond props, like the camera gun. Where do we draw the line? --Funkychinaman 09:37, 10 May 2011 (CDT)
- It's just as important to say which ones aren't real at all as it is to say which ones are. Omitting them just makes it look like we forgot them. That said, this page seems more like "disguised firearm" than "assassination device." Evil Tim 10:19, 10 May 2011 (CDT)
