Deathcheaters Death-Cheaters when released internationally) is a 1976 Australian film directed by Brian Trenchard-Smith (The Man From Hong Kong , Turkey Shoot ) about two Vietnam soldiers turned television stuntmen Steve (John Hargreaves ) and Rod (Grant Page ) who are offered the opportunity to infiltrate a gangster's fortress in the Philippines and find secret documents and deliver them to an aging gangster named Mr. Culpepper (Noel Ferrier ).

L1A1 The Australian copy of the FN FAL , The L1A1 Battle Rifle, is used by Steve (John Hargreaves ) and Rod (Grant Page ) in the flashbacks to the Vietnam War. Many henchmen at Hernandez's warehouse in the Philippines also use them.
