Charlie Wilson's War
AK-47
AK-47's can be seen used by both Afghan Mujahideen guerilla's and Soviets.
Mk.19
Mk.19's can bee seen on the Tanks of the Afghan or Soviet tanks (i'm not sure).
DShK heavy machine gun
The standard Soviet heavy machinegun for almost 50 years it is shown, primarily, in the anti-aircraft configuration. This weapon is also prominent on the cover of the book on which this film is based showing the real Charlie Wilson firing one off at a refugee camp on the Afghan/Pakistani border.
Note: that is the real Charlie Wilson firing a DshK.

YAK-B 12.7mm Machinegun
This four barreled Russian machinegun was/is the standard armament on the later model Hind gunships. It is unique in the world of "gatling-style" weapons in that it does not require electrical power to function. It was subsequently replaced by light 20mm and 30mm cannon.
