The Cowra Breakout
The Cowra Breakout is a 1984 Australian war miniseries. The film tells the events of the infamous POW breakout at Cowra, New South Wales, in which 4 Australian Guards and 231 Japanese Prisoners were killed. The miniseries details the events leading up to the breakout from both sides.
