Call of Juarez is a 2006 western first person shooter set in Texas in 1882, and later in Juarez, Mexico. The story revolves around sixteen year old William "Billy Candle" (Who's surname is revealed in Bound in Blood), is on the run from his step-uncle Reverend Ray McCall. In 2009 a prequel "Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood was released which followed the adventures of Ray McCall and his brother Thomas.

Conditions

As in Bound in Blood, Call of Juarez has a condition style for most weapons. They can be found "Rusty" which on the weapons selection bar has a red lightning bolt, "Normal", "Prime" which have a silver star and the guns are engraved, and Superb which have a gold star, and a more intricate engraving. Also, the lower condition the gun, and the more useage it gets the gun heats up with the box glowing red, and wth continuing use explode in the player's hands causing them to drop it. The Prime and Superb weapons are "Rare Weapons" and are tied to the Gun Collector Achievement on the Xbox 360.

Dubbed the "Ranger" this revolver has medium reload speed but packs a punch. It appears to have been converted to fire cartridges, in stead of being a cap and ball revolver. It is found in a Prime condition on Episode VI and Superb in Episode XV. t it mainly used by Juarez' gang of banditos.

Colt Single Action Army

Dubbed the "1889 Classic Six Shooter", this revolver has fast reloads but is relatively weak. It is used by most enemies.

Called the "Six-Barreled Gun" This gun is very uncommon and isn't used by enemies. It is also slightly powerful unlike it's real-life counterpart, due to it using rifle ammo.

Dubbed the "Volcano Gun" This gun is the most powerful pistol ingame. It holds 8 rounds and kills most enemies in one shot. This is Juarez' main sidearm.

Smith & Wesson Schofield

Dubbed the "Quickshooter" this revolver (a favorite of Jesse James), has medium damage, but an extremely fast reload speed, and quick fire rate.

French Le' Mat

This gun dubbed the "Hybrid Gun" is the second most powerful handgun in the game (vastly different to Bound in Blood's Hybrid Gun), the shotgun is useable, but it uses rifle ammo. It is Tom Manson's sidearm, but he is never seen using it, although it is presumed he uses it to mortally wound Molly Ferguson's father.

Remington Derringer

Dubbed the "Ladies Gun" this pistol is first seen when Billy Candle sneaks into Suzy's room in Forrester's Grand Saloon. It has a high fire rate, but low damage, and only holds two bullets.

Winchester Model 1892

Dubbed the "Classic Rifle" this is is a powerful rifle, and is useful in any situation, although being slightly anachronistic. the Classic Rifle also has a scoped version dubbed the "Scoped Classic Rifle"

Gatling Gun

A Gatling gun with a drum magazine is used in various missions and in the Bonus Missions.

Cannon

A cannon appears in Episode XIV in Juarez' Aclazar. Interestingly it faces towards the Mansion where coincidentally Ray uses it to blow the doors open.

A bow appears in various levels, however it is not used by any enemies.

Whip

Billy's signature weapon the whip can be used to both kill enemies (although not recommended unless you are sneaking) or for climbing.

A bible while not technically a weapon is used by Ray. Judging by the verses it is probably a KJV version.

Dynamite appears in the game as the game's "grenade". They can be "cooked", and are useful for clearing out groups of outlaws.

Tomahawk

In episode III and VIII, some enemies wield a tomahawk. If picked up it can be used as a hacking weapon, or thrown at enemies.
