Just correcting some horrendous spelling errors, that's all ;) MPM2008

PPKS

The PPK/S is not anachronistic for 1974. It came in as a result of the GCA68 so samples were available (even SS ones) in 1974. What came later was the American contract manufactures of the same pistol.

Rock Island Armory Commander

That's a Rock Island Armory Commander that Ben Stiller is using. It has a bushingless barrel and you can see the Rock Island Armory markings in image S&HColtCommanderCustom-10. I am trying to track down the gun for photos. -Steve

This was confirmed by the former GM of Gibbons Ltd who rented the guns to Starsky & Hutch that they were Rock Island Armory Commanders used by Ben Stiller during the film. -Phoenixent
That explains why the gun stovepipes alot- its a hunk of crap made in the Phillipines (nothing against the Phillipines- My Hi-Standard is was there, I just friggin hate Rock Island guns), if he had any sense he would have chucked that POS and got a real gun.-76.31.5.208 05:07, 21 June 2009 (UTC) (S&Wshooter)

Please S&Wshooter, what's the matter with you? It seems like you hate almost every single gun exept for those you have on you account that you like. So please, stop being so negative and you will be doing all of us a favour. User: Colt

Model 19 casings

Random question but I was curious whether the rounds Starsky takes out of his Model 19 in the interrogation scene have Aluminum or Nickel-plated Brass casings.
