Boomtown was a police drama set in Los Angeles that aired on NBC for two seasons from 2002-2003. The series showed the circumstances of a particular crime from several different points of view that included the cops, criminals, witnesses, and the lawyers.

The standard sidearm of the LAPD at the time was the Beretta 92FS and was mainly seen used in the series by LAPD Officer Ray Hechler (Gary Barsaraba) and Officer Tom Turcotte (Jason Gedrick)
