Short Circuit
The following weapons are used in the 1985 comedy film: Short Circuit:
Remington Model 700
Stephanie's (Alley Sheed) ex-boyfriend Frank (Brian McNamara) arrives unexpectedly at her house with a Remington Model 700 bolt-action rifle mounted with a scope. He uses it various times to try and shoot Johnny 5 (Tim Blaney), but each of his rounds are blocked by the robot.
M16
M16 rifles were used by the Nova Robotics guards and the US Army soldiers hunting down Number 5.
Colt Cobra
Duke (Marvin J. McIntyre), one of Skroeder's men, is seen pulling out a Colt Cobra from his ankle holster. This gun was apparently a replacement for the SIG-Sauer that was destroyed by Number 5.
AK-47
AK-47 rifles were seen during the demonstration of the S.A.I.N.T. robots as the standard infantry rifle of the "dummy" Russian soldiers.
Sig Sauer P226
At one point Duke pulls an automatic handgun which Number 5 identifies as a "Colt .45 semiautomatic." It is actually a Sig Sauer, not a Colt. Number 5 pulls the gun from Duke's hand and proceeds to rip it apart, declaring it "Play-Doh!"
