Richard Attenborough
Though most well known as an Academy-Award winning film director (Gandhi (1982)) Lord Attenborough started as an actor back in the 1950's. He occasionally still appears in front of the camera, e.g., in Jurassic Park. He is a British citizen and was made a life peer in 1993.
