During the second season, LAPD Det. Sgt. Rick Hunter (Fred Dryer) carries a Heckler & Koch P9S with muzzle compensator, also seen during the opening credits.
Raoul Mariano (Richard Yniguez), cultural attache to the fictional South American nation of Curaguay, carries a nickel third generation Colt Detective Special in "Rape and Revenge" (2.06-2.07).
When Hunter (Fred Dryer) goes to Curaguay to hunt Raoul Mariano in "Rape and Revenge" (2.06-2.07), he is sold an LAR Grizzly Pistol from an illegal arms dealer.
In "Rape and Revenge, Pt. 2" (2.07), the soldiers in the fictional South American nation of Curaguay carry AKM rifles, one of which is commandeered by Rick Hunter (Fred Dryer), who uses it to fire back at the soldiers.
