Above the Law is the 1988 action movie that launched Steven Seagal's movie career. In the film, he plays Nico Toscani, a Chicago cop with a CIA past and family in the Mafia.

Colt Government

Chicago cop Nico Toscani (Steven Seagal) carries a Colt Government as his main sidearm in the film. During the shootout in the meatpacking district, his Government changes several times to a Commander (see below). In reality, Steven Seagal owns and uses in real life several 1911s.
