Devils Rejects

Nice work Screencapping the Devil's rejects, try and get the rest of the weapons on there if you can -even if there are no clear shots of it in the movie, still screencap it as proof it is in the movie. Also when you upload screencaps capture the whole frame of the movie so that the screencap sizes will be consistent. --AdAstra2009 04:57, 17 September 2009 (UTC)

RE Day of the Dead

Yeah, those screen caps were horrid weren't they lol.

The Thing

GJ on The Thing, just remember the general rule of trying to keep all screencaps the same size on the page(also try to capture the whole frame). Feel free to replace Fimvit's Screenshots as they are awfully small and look poor in comparison to yours. --AdAstra2009 01:36, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

RE The Thing

Well its not a big deal if the black bars are showing, some people like GM45 don't like it ,but it's still good as the screencap sizes would be consistent. If you want to get rid of the black bars -go into MS Paint and use the rectangular select tool to select everything but the black bars, then go to Image>Crop (in the Menu Bar). --AdAstra2009 04:16, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

Night of The Living Dead

GJ screencapping the 1968 Night of the Living Dead, I was waiting for someone to screencap that -now all of the pages for George A. Romero's films in his Dead series have been completed. --AdAstra2009 03:52, 27 September 2009 (UTC)

RE Night of The Living Dead

RE They Live

GJ on the page, it looks great. --AdAstra2009 20:36, 6 October 2009 (UTC)

Sorry if you're offended

Don't take it personally. But one of the things which irk the mods the most are members uploading endless new pics of guns we already have. Also 99.99% of the shots uploaded are pirated shots and that UNDOES the work that people like me are trying to do, get our own LICENSED images, not used pirated gun images from other people's websites (we've been notified by several copyright owners of copyright violation and have had to remove 'jacked' gun pics. ) You upload TONS of new pics and that makes us wary, since we've counted several that are not necessary since we already have our own pics of the gun. MT2008 has already asked you once why you uploaded an image of guns that we already have. I don't know if you answered or not. The rule is, if we already have the pic, don't overload the server with unnecessary images. (The entire screencap controversy is something completely separate from this, we have various members with different ideas as to how many screencaps are needed on a page, but that is another debate that others are having and isn't relevant to your query). The issue is not one of making mistakes. You didn't make any sort of technical error or misidentified anything. But we expect members to check to see if an image is needed BEFORE they upload a new one. Some of the members in the past have irritated the Mods and other members by uploading all their own images of guns for pages they create, when pre-existing images are already there. If the NEW pics are markedly BETTER than the previous ones than it is understandable, but if the image is crappier than the one already here, we have to wonder what is that person's motivation is or if they are just being careless. But we will continue to delete unnecessary images. There is just too much new activity by new members to walk on eggshells with everyone. Sorry if it seemed as if anyone singled you out.
