Sig Sauer P228
Cadet William Costigan Jr. (Leonardo DiCaprio) carries a Sig Sauer P228.
It is not Sig Sauer P228, it's Astra A-100. See for yourself: http://www.gundirectory.com/guns/20030-1.jpg
When the cadets are training, most of the guns which are seen in the shooting range seem to be Sig Sauer p226, however, it is true that the only handgun that we see clearly is, indeed, an Astra A-100
