Beretta 92FS

Max Payne's signature 9mm pistols are Beretta 92FSs.

Desert Eagle

Preferred weapon of Max Payne's partner and love interest Mona Sax. Shown with a 10-round magazine; a ten-round load in a Desert Eagle is something only possible in real life with the .357 version and a round chambered. The in-game version had some gold plated details and the grip appears to be pearl.

Max with a Desert Eagle. This appears to be a development screenshot, since the actual game uses a different model for the Desert Eagle.

Remington 870

The Remington 870P, distinguished by its folding stock, is the primary pump action shotgun available in the game.

Sentinel Arms Striker-12

The Sentinel Arms Striker-12 is known as the Striker Shotgun in the game. Note that this weapon can't be reloaded with a simple subtitution of the drum-shaped magazine (as seen in the game): the buckshot must be inserted one by one as in normal tube-feeded shotgun. Also the magazine had a capacity of 12 cartridge, not 10.

Mona Sax holds a Striker-12; this never happens in the game, but the angle shows the Striker-12's enlarged winding key.

MAC-10

The Ingram seen in-game are clearly a reproduction of a model producted by the Military Armament Corporation (commonly know as MAC) with the but-stock folded. It feature a 32 round magazine, probably to simulate a Ingram Model 10/9 chambered in 9mm Parabellum or a more lightweight Model 11 (producted only in 9mm X 17 Short Browning, also know as .380 ACP or .380 auto)

Called "Kalashnikov" and shown with the bayonet removed; the attachment lug, however, is still clearly visible under the barrel.

I'd say it is more likely a Colt M733, with the 715-style upper reciever. This is the same type of gun used in Heat. Note short barrel. - Gunmaster45
The M4 is used in the game but, that picture above was taken before the game was released. Hence the M733 and the Desert Eagle with a Scope.-Oliveira 13:54, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

FPK / PSL Sniper Rifle

Referred to as a Dragunov in the game, but modeled on the Romanian PSL sniper rifle. Used only by Mona Sax.

A posed preview screenshot showing Max firing the FPK. Note that Max never uses this weapon in the final game; at this point, he shouldn't even have a sniper rifle.
