The Fable (Japanese title: ザ・ファブル, Za Faburu) is a 2019 action-comedy film based on the 2014-2019 manga of the same name by Katsuhisa Minami. The film stars Junichi Okada as "The Fable", an legendary hitman within the Japanese underworld who is ordered to live a normal civilian life without killing anybody for an entire year. A sequel, The Fable: The Killer Who Doesn't Kill, was released in 2021.

The following weapons were used in the film The Fable:

Pistols

Nighthawk Custom M1911

Akira "The Fable" Sato (Junichi Okada) uses a customized Nighthawk Custom-made M1911 as his signature weapon. According to this blog post, the custom pistol was apparently made for the film by using a Tanio Koba GM-7 airsoft pistol. Modifications include the use of 1911 Diamondback grips, a 4 inch chrome slide, and adding Nighthawk Custom engravings, new front/rear sights, and a DCI suppressor barrel adaptor.
