Manhunt 2
Manhunt 2 is the sequel to Manhunt, a highly controversial game released in 2007 by Rockstar Games. While the melee weapon executions are very creative (and very gory), the firearm executions share two (nonetheless gory) executions, one for pistol-sized weapons and one for everything else. The game follows Daniel Lamb, a mental patient suffering from amnesia as he tries to uncover his identity. He is accompanied by Leo Kasper, a sociopathic assassin who guides Daniel in his journey.
Most of the weapons return from the first game, but there are also several new guns.
Note: This game has a grainy, "Blair Witch Project" look to it. So the pictures will not be crystal clear.
The following weapons appear in the video game Manhunt 2:
Handguns
Desert Eagle Mark I
The Desert Eagle appears in the "Most Wanted", "Altered State" and "Release Therapy" levels. The gun's description lists it being incorrectly chambered in .40, while the ammo pickups in-game are labeled ".50 caliber bullets". To add to the confusion, the capacity of the weapon is nine rounds, suggesting it is the .357 version. In-game it appears with a nickel finish and wooden grips.
Glock 23
The Glock 23 appears in the levels "Best Friends", "Safe House", "Assassination", "Broadcast Interrupted", "Personality Clash' (PC version) and "Release Therapy" as the "Light Handgun".
Smith & Wesson Model 586
The Smith & Wesson Model 586 in .38 Special appears in the "Best Friends" and "Safehouse" levels. It is (somehow) the quietest firearm in the game.
Submachine Guns
"Submachine Gun"
The same mash-up of an Uzi and a MAC-10 from Manhunt reappears as the "Submachine Gun", and is used in the "Bees Honey Pot", "Assassination", "Most Wanted", "Broadcast Interrupted", "Altered State", and "Release Therapy" levels. It is the only SMG in the game, and the fastest firing weapon.
Rifles
Colt Model 733
The Colt Model 733 appears as the "Assault Rifle". The gun is made from the same textures as the "Defender Mark 1" in the first game, though this time the original M933 texture is mostly unchanged. The only modification is the carry handle texture being chopped in such a way as to have the thumb nuts removed effectively turning the weapon into an M733. The stock appears to have the general shape of a 3rd gen collapsible but has ridges like the 4th gen collapsible. It is depicted with a 20-round magazine which inaccurately holds 30 rounds in gameplay. It appears in the "Broadcast Interrupted", "Altered State", "Personality Clash" and "Release Therapy" levels. It requires a bit of skill to use since by the time it is acquired most of the hunters are wearing bulletproof vests, requiring the player to go for headshot or waste ammo.
Enfield Enforcer
The Enfield Enforcer appears in the "Assassination" and "Broadcast Interrupted" levels. It is impossible to fire the weapon without going into scoped view. Oddly, the ammo pickups appear to be M1 Garand en-bloc clips.
Shotguns
Remington 870/Mossberg 500 Hybrid
The Remington 870 with a Mossberg 500 barrel and forend, appears as the "Shotgun", and is available in the "Safehouse", "Most Wanted", "Origins" and "Domestic Disturbance" levels. It is fitted with an unusable accessory rail and a Pachmayr Vindicator grip. There are two variants of this shotgun in-game: one with and without a flashlight.
Sawed-off Double Barreled Shotgun
A Sawed-off Double Barrel Shotgun appears in the "Bees Honey Pot" level. It is the most powerful weapon in the game, but it is balanced by having a very short range and an obviously limited capacity.
Franchi SPAS-12
An unusable SPAS-12 appears in the Project Militia's hands in the intro of "Assassination".
Other
Flare Gun
A flare pistol appears in the "Best Friends" and "Personality Clash" levels. It is capable of setting hunters ablaze from a distance.
Crossbow
A (likely fictional) crossbow of unknown make and manufacture can only be used in the "Altered State" level. It is the only weapon that uses firearm executions that do not turn a hunter's head into a red cloud. Also, unlike the Enfield Enforcer, the player can strafe while in scope view.
