The Fable ザ・ファブル Za Faburu

The Fable (Japanese title: ザ・ファブル, Za Faburu) is a 2019 action-comedy film based on the 2014-2019 manga of the same name by Katsuhisa Minami. The film stars Junichi Okada as Akira "The Fable" Sato, an infamous hitman within the Japanese underworld who is forced to live a completely normal civilian life without killing anybody for an entire year. A sequel, The Fable: The Killer Who Doesn't Kill , was released in 2021.

Akira Sato aka “Fable” (Junichi Okada ) uses a customized Nighthawk Custom-made M1911 . According to this blog post , it was made for the film by using a Tanio Koba GM-7, but it can be be done with a Tokyo Marui MEU pistol. Changes include the use of 1911 Diamondback grips, a 4 inch chrome slide, adding Nighthawk Custom engravings and new front/rear sight and a DCI suppressor barrel adaptor.
