Starfield

Starfield is a 2023 science-fiction RPG developed by Bethesda Game Studios, being their newest IP in 25 years. Set in 2330, the game takes place within the Milky Way galaxy and features over 1,000 explorable planetary bodies, both real and fictional.
The following weapons appear in the video game Starfield:
Pistols
Colt M1911A1
The Colt M1911A1 appears in the game as the "Old Earth Pistol", one of a handful of Earth firearms. The trigger guard is slightly enlarged, compared to a standard M1911A1, presumably as a way to accommodate spacesuit gloves, but also very strangely profiled and cut on the frame. The model also lacks several functional features that would render the gun less-than-usable, specifically lacking a plunger housing which means the safety wouldn't lock and could interfere with the slide reciprocating rearwards, and the slide stop would be at risk of accidentally locking the slide open at any time, and a magazine release lock which means there's nothing keeping the magazine release assembly in the frame. There is also a strange hole in front of the slide stop with no clear purpose. The in-game M1911A1 incorrectly holds 9 rounds and its slide does not lock back on an empty reload. It also chambers its own ".45 Caliber ACP" ammunition type, however, it is erroneously illustrated as a bottlenecked cartridge by icons inscribed on its ammo box pickups.
"XM-2311"
A modernised M1911 pistol appears in the game as the "XM-2311", implying it is a prototype firearm that was developed in the year 2311 (19 years before the game's start). Despite being seeming to be a much more advanced firearm (though really just resembling a conventional, more current production 1911 style pistol) it is still missing the functional parts that the "Old Earth Pistol" is lacking and also has the strange hole in the frame.
Shotguns
"Old Earth Shotgun"
The "Old Earth Shotgun" is a pump-action shotgun comprised of a Mossberg 500 style receiver, an Ithaca 37 barrel and magazine tube, and a vaguely Smith & Wesson 3000 style pump. The shotgun's pistol grip appears to be referencing the Ithaca 37 used in Aliens, albeit with a more MG42-esque pistol grip rather than MP40. Rather bizarrely (due to the shotguns it's modelled after), the Old Earth Shotgun is cycled by pushing its forend forwards, then subsequently backwards à la NeoStead 2000, after which this magically ejects a spent shell from above the gun's heatshield though only after its forend is brought back.
Rifles
AK Hybrid
The "Old Earth Assault Rifle" is a stockless AK rifle. Its receiver is a slightly altered AKM receiver, but bears the barrel from the original AK-47. The front trunnion has an added polymer shell somewhat resembling a Magpul MOE AKM handguard taped to the rifle's wooden handguard, probably to reuse handling animations from other weapons. The rifle correctly chambers 7.62x39mm which appear to be steel cased as seen in the AK's reload animation, however, it ejects longer and straighter casings when fired.
VSS Vintorez
The VSS Vintorez appears as the "Old Earth Hunting Rifle". The handguard on the in-game weapon is more AK-like than the real weapon. The handguard like the AK hybrid, has a partial Magpul MOE handguard attached which is only visible from the right. Like its real-life counterpart, the in-game Vintorez is fed 9x39mm rounds by its 20-round magazines.
