The Accidental Narco (Korean title: 수리남, Surinam; lit. "Suriname", marketed internationally as Narco-Saints ) is a South Korean crime drama series. The series stars Ha Jung-woo as Kang In-gu, a Korean entrepreneur visiting Suriname to start up a business who is used in the South Korean National Intelligence Service's manhunt for local Korean drug lord Jeon Yo-hwan (Hwang Jung-min ), operating in Suriname under the front of a church pastor. The series was originally released under the name Suriname in South Korea, but was renamed to and promoted as Narco-Saints internationally to draw the viewerbases of fellow Netflix series Narcos and Narcos: Mexico .
