The Way to Dusty Death Linda Hamilton and Simon MacCorkindale . Johnny Harlow (MacCorkindale), world champion racing driver, suspects that the death of his friend in a racing crash wasn't an accident but a planned murder. The investigation leads Harlow to the international crime ring that uses the car racing team, owned by the recent widow of the former owner Beth MacAlpine (Hamilton), for the diamond trafficking.

It is identified by the lack of the paddle magazine release and the selector without the third position for automatic fire. Strangely, the rear sight is removed from the rifle.

Judging by the general appearance, it may be a scoped Heckler & Koch G3 or variant (hardly a G3SG/1 as the screen gun has definitly a slimline forearm, and hardly a PSG-1 or MSG90 as the barrel isn't long enough).
