The Black Captain Chyornyy kapitan ) is a Soviet 1973 adventure war movie, directed by Oleg Lentsius. The story is set in 1919, during the Russian Civil war. Red-Green partisans unit "Lightning of Revolution" acts against Gen. Denikin's White Army troops ("Greens" was a generic term for peasantry rebels during the Russian Civil war. Greens often teamed with Reds against Whites but were generally set against Bolsheviks). Partisans commander Fyodor Galatenko (Aleksandr Goloborodko ) often makes daring operations, wearing black uniform of an elite unit of White Army, General Markov's officer regiment (hence the title of the movie). Galatenko's activities draw attention of White counterintelligence service and of Red underground organisation.

Stanislav Romualdovich Turskiy (Sergey Polezhaev ). Both pre- and post-1930 Nagants are seen.
