586

It's a 686 (stainless), not a 586 (blued)-S&Wshooter 02:05, 28 April 2010 (UTC)

I have it listed as a nickel 586, we only have a pic of blued 586 snub. I could use the pic of my nickel 586 but it has a 4" barrel.--Predator20 02:51, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
S&W 586
I'm pretty sure it is a Smith & Wesson Model 586. While I suppose it is possible that a movie armorer got hold of one of the Brazilian contract S&W Model 586 revolvers with the 2.5" barrel (made in 38 Special and 123 overrun units were sold in the United States in 93/94) and then had it nickel plated I find it highly unlikely. Also the finish of the revolver is more consistent with stainless steel than nickel plating. --Jcordell (talk) 20:09, 18 July 2015 (EDT)
