Vetterli

Is it only me, or a rifle on the wall of a swiss hotel also looks very similar to Vetterli? --Kloga (talk) 11:16, 3 January 2014 (EST)

Hardly. The trigger guard differs, the barrel differs, and the screen gun seems to have a flintlock or a caplock. But I have plans to make new screenshots of better quality, and maybe then we'll be able to say more about this gun. Greg-Z (talk) 05:22, 4 January 2014 (EST)

Smith and Wesson New Model No. 3

This revolver is a double action model not the single action No. 3, you can see in the caps how far forward the trigger is which doesn't happen with any single actions. Black Irish Paddy (talk) 05:39, 14 August 2018 (EDT)

Thanks, it's possible. There were double action Belgian produced copies, and such DA revolvers in .44 Russian caliber were popular among Russian Army officers. Probably the movie gun is one of these Liege copies. Greg-Z (talk) 05:52, 14 August 2018 (EDT)
