The following weapons were used in Season 1 of the television series Torchwood
Pistols Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 4.3 Torchwood agents Dr. Owen Harper (Burn Gorman ), Ianto Jones (Gareth David-Lloyd ), Toshiko Sato (Naoko Mori ), Susie Costello (Indira Varma ) and later Gwen Cooper (Eve Myles ) carry the Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 4.3 . The airsoft guns were used due to strict firearms controls in the UK and the reduced insurance cost during filming. Various minor characters are also seen with the weapon, including PC Huw (Rhys Op Trefor ) in "Countrycide" and Mark Lynch (Alex Hassell ) in "Combat".

It is later used by Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman ) in the same epiosde. In a brief continuity error, when it is thrown down after running out of ammunition it changes to an M1 Garand rifle in the next shot.
