TheHunter: Call of the Wild
From Internet Movie Firearms Database - Guns in Movies, TV and Video Games
Revision as of 02:51, 6 October 2022 by NormieAus(talk | contribs)(Writing the most basic parts about new additions to this game which have not yet been added here, this work is unfinished still but I'll get there. Also fixed an extremely minor grammatical error consisting of a missing letter. In-game images of these guns can be added later as soon as I work out how to disable my HUD like the rest of the images here have.)
theHunter: Call of the Wild is the 2017 successor to the 2009 video game theHunter. Like its predecessor, it is a hunting simulator which aims to depict realistic animal behavior and hunting techniques as players hunt across vast tracts of game reserves in multiple biomes.
The following weapons appear in theHunter: Call of the Wild:
The Ruger Mk IV appears under the name "Andersson .22LR" despite the markings on the in-game gun saying "Roger Mark II". It has three different variants, but they are all cosmetics. It is the only semi-automatic pistol in the game for now. Like all other handguns, the player can equip a scope or red dot sight on it.
Smith & Wesson Performance Center Hunter
The Smith & Wesson Model 629 Performance Center Hunter appears in the game featuring a compensator and in .357 Magnum instead of .44 Magnum, as the in-game name implies with "Focoso .357". The markings read "MADE IN ITALY Focoso 357 Morreiti". It is the initial revolver available to the player.
Taurus Judge / Smith & Wesson Model 327 hybrid
A Taurus Judge is available to the player in three different variants with the name "Mangiafico 410/45 Colt", though the variants are cosmetic only. As in real life, the Judge can be chambered in both .45 Long Colt and .410 shells. The in-game revolver appears to have a Smith & Wesson-style barrel, specifically, a barrel from the Smith & Wesson Model 327.
Ruger GP100 / Taurus Raging Bull hybrid
The Ruger GP100 appears as "Rhino 454". It is modelled with a Taurus Raging Bull barrel and is chambered in .454 Casull.
A Glock 40 appears as "10mm Davani 40". In-game it features a 15 round magazine and compatibility with a micro red dot sight.
Colt Single Action Army
A Single Action Army appears as ".45 Rolleston". It is modelled with a six round cylinder but when reloading, the player skips over one of the chambers, loading it only with five.
An Over and Under Shotgun appears as the initial shotgun for the player, chambered in 12 Gauge with the name "Caversham Steward 12G". The gun is always equipped with a rail.
Side-By-Side Shotgun
A 20 Gauge Side by Side Shotgun appears with a very long barrel and with the name "Strecker SxS 20G".
M30 Luftwaffe Drilling
The M30 Luftwaffe Drilling shotgun/rifle combination gun appears chambered in 16 Gauge and 9.3x74mmR with the name "Grelck Drilling Rifle".
Winchester Model 1887

Remington 870 Wingmaster
A Remington 870 Wingmaster appears chambered in 12 gauge with the name "Cacciatore 12G". As in the previous game, it is mixed with elements of the Mossberg 500 and Winchester Model 1200/1300, in the form of an extended magazine and trigger guard, respectively.
Remington Versa Max
The Remington Versa Max appears chambered in 20 gauge as "Nordin 20SA".
