Pointless comments

Someone needs to take a little look see on this page, the anachronisms comments have gotten a little out of hand. There are also a couple of obvious mistakes.

FBI 10MM Debate

I've moved these from the main page. Not only are these comments a little silly, they were posted in the wrong place. --Jackie.45Cal 12:08, 6 April 2011 (CDT)

Correction - the FBI tested but never adopted the 10MM. (g. wood)

(In 1990 the FBI certainly did adopt the 10mm in the model SW 1076 decocker only pistol)

Smith Auto

I did the same thing here. --Jackie.45Cal 12:11, 6 April 2011 (CDT)

FBI Special Agent Lonnie Hawkins (Delroy Lindo) draws his 659.

I think this is actually a Smith & Wesson 5946 because the gun does not appear to have a decocker. The 5946 is authorised by the NYPD but maby not for the FBI.

-And in the picture above the gun does not have the removable barrel bushing that 659s have.

For years, the page has said that the gun is a 5943, but the barrel looks too long. The gun may seem like a 5943 based on size, but I think that is just because Delroy Lindo is a big guy with big hands. -MT2008 (talk) 16:00, 2 October 2022 (UTC)
