Lewis Stone (1879-1953) holds a Winchester Model 52 as Sir John Roxton in The Lost World (1925).

Lewis Shepard Stone (November 15, 1879 – September 12, 1953) was an American film actor, best known for the role of Judge James Hardy in the 1930s-1940s Andy Hardy film series. In the early 1900s Stone was considered by the critics to be the most popular leading man. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor in 1929 for The Patriot (1928). Stone was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
