Spanish soldiers guarding the NATO base are massively armed with the M4A1 assault rifle. The rifles are seen equipped with aimpoint or EOTech sights, laser sight and flashlight. Some rifles are without accessories and with a full stock.

Some kind of Special Response Team, full black dressed soldiers, used AWP as a tranquilizer rifle against out-of-control mutated Tally Rutherford (Nathalie Emmanuel). Only in movies a firearm can fire darts.

All the Spanish soldiers are equipped with handguns. They are only seen holstered and when the Colonel Solano (Francesc Garrido) draws his own, the shot is not very clear. But the grip let think it is a Smith & Wesson M&P9.
