Halo is the 2022 streaming military science fiction series based on the iconic video game franchise of the same name. The series follows several personal stories set during a large-scale 26th-century intergalactic war between the human race and a theocratic and militaristic collective of alien races known as the Covenant. The series premiered on the streaming service Paramount+ in March of 2022.
The following weapons were used in the television series Halo (TV Series):
Unknown Pistol
In the official trailer, a United Nations Space Command (UNSC) marine is seen firing a pistol at an unknown target. It closely resembles an Arex Rex variant.
This pistol's also seen on the leg holsters of the Spartan-IIs and other UNSC marines, indicating that it's the standard-issued sidearm of the UNSC. A gold-plated one is also carried by Soren-066 (Bokeem Woodbine).
AKM
In the episode Contact (S1E1), Insurrectionists on the planet colony Madrigal are seen aiming AKMs with cloth wrappings, FAB Defense GLR-16 collapsible stocks, and aftermarket muzzle brakes.
MP5A4
In Contact (S1E1), some Insurrectionists carry MP5A4s during the Covenant attack on the planet colony Madrigal.
RPD
In Contact (S1E1), an Insurrectionist is seen carrying an RPD during the Covenant attack on the planet colony Madrigal.
M79 grenade launcher
In the episode Contact (S1E1), an Insurrectionist is manning a turret has an M79 grenade launcher slung behind his back when the Covenant attack the planet colony Madrigal.
General Dynamics GAU-17/A (modified)
In the episode Contact (S1E1), the armed Insurrectionists and the Master Chief (Pablo Schreiber) are seen using General Dynamics GAU-17/As modified to slightly resemble the "AIE-486H Heavy Machine Gun (HMG)" from Halo 3, though the game's original design moreso resembles a GAU-19/A scaled down to 7.62x51mm.
