7 Days in Entebbe Entebbe José Padilha and starring Rosamund Pike and Daniel Brühl . Set over the course of seven days in June-July 1976, the film is the latest recreation of the now famous Operation Thunderbolt, when Israeli commandos of the Sayeret Matkal (commonly known as The Unit) launched a risky counter-terrorist hostage-rescue operation to free hostages from an Air France Airbus A300 which had been hijacked by four members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFPL), including two left-wing Germans (Pike and Brühl), and flown to Entebbe, Uganda in collaboration with the infamous dictator Idi Amin.
