Weird sentence
Rare and expensive, it is often overlooked by .22 automatics. Does anyone know what that is supposed to mean? Overshadowed by other .22 automatics, or Overlooked by .22 automatic enthusiasts. ?? MoviePropMaster2008 02:40, 14 January 2012 (CST)
- Also, the Model 41 is not rare and it is still being produced by Smith & Wesson. --SmithandWesson36 09:41, 14 January 2012 (CST)
Really? The Smith & Wesson specs I looked up told me that it was no longer in production and the fact that I spent hours searching for info told me that it was rare. Sorry if it was inaccurate I can change it if need be. - Scattergun Jan 14th 2012
- During your hours of searching did you trying the S&W Website? Or google? the very first result for "Smith & Wesson Model 41" on google is: http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product4_750001_750051_764921_-1_757765_757752_757751_ProductDisplayErrorView_Y ....
- Also, according to the "Digest Book of Modern Gun Values" (first result in google books) the Model 41 has been produced since 1957. There was a Match version that was only produced from 1963-1989. --Zackmann08 11:16, 14 January 2012 (CST)
- Alright. Sorry about that. I'll fix the page right away. Although if that comment about the gun in Leon being a Benelli is correct, we may as well just ditch this page. Pity, but I'll do whatever the top admins want. Also, one more question, is it appropriate to say Smith & Wesson 41 or Smith & Wesson Model 41?
- IMFDB uses Model for revolvers only. S&W violates their own rules from time to time, but we separate Semiautos, SMGs and shotguns from revolvers since wheelguns are S&W's claim to fame. MoviePropMaster2008 15:13, 14 January 2012 (CST)
- Thank you, MoviePropMaster2008. I've had that question for a while. Thank you for the info, and to answer your usual question I am from the US, (east coast) and I'm 22 years old and not very fluent in posting pages on wiki's, but I'm learning as much as I can so I don't post anymore inaccurate pages. Thanks for the help!
