Talk:Door Kickers
Few tips - The category/section headings should probably come up a level all-around (as is typical on other pages on the site), Handguns should be split into separate Pistols and Revolvers sections, and Submachine Guns and Rifles/Carbines need to be their split into their own respective sections. StanTheMan (talk) 14:23, 15 February 2016 (EST)
- Thanks StanTheMan, I'll have a look. I initially tried to group weapons closer to their in-game separation (at least for a quickstart); but now, when I have at least completed cross-linking the in-game and the real-life topics, they may be shuffled and regrouped, as well as filled with the actual information, photos, screenshots etc etc. I'll hopefully get back to it when I feel strong enough to continue.
- I also noticed that some stuff, like the Brügger & Thomet bolt-action pistols, SIG MCX platform or Crye Precision SIX12 shotguns, don't have a page yet. I am not sure I am qualified enough to build those pages; but I've linked the place where they'll hopefully appear someday, hoping for a good future. amyodov (talk) 16:31, 15 February 2016 (EST)
- Weapons categories should be at level 1 headings, while the weapons themselves should be at level 2 headings. If you need any help with coding, you can refer to IMFDB Page Templates. --Funkychinaman (talk) 22:52, 15 February 2016 (EST)
The B&T VP9 actually already has a page which I have linked to. For the tactical revolver I looked at the Door Kicker wiki, and I believe that it is a Smith & Wesson Model 327 Performance Center TRR8:

- That helps a lot, I've just left some thanks on your talk page for that, commando552! I've used Door Kickers Wikia page for the initial reference and double-checked it, but now the imfdb page for Door Kickers may have even better information about the real-life counterparts. S&W 327 Performance Center TRR8 may indeed be it; I'll try to check it and add it to the page when have some free time, thanks again. But also, please have a look at your User talk page; I've left some arguments there “Brügger & Thomet” company may now be officially called “B&T AG”, thus requiring renaming whenever appropriate. amyodov (talk) 16:51, 16 February 2016 (EST)

Door Kickers is a real-time strategy video game developed and published by KillHouse Games on Steam platform in 2014. It is available for Windows, OS X and SteamPlay platforms; later in 2015 a mobile-adapted version was released for Android and iOS tablets.
The mission of the game is to control the SWAT team on various missions: breaching and clearing the rooms from the terrorists, rescuing the hostages, securing the evidences before they are destroyed, arresting the VIPs, disarming the bombs.
Multiple trooper classes (with different weapons and loadouts possible) are made available as the player progresses through the game, as well as multiple weapons are unlocked after the successful mission completions. The following trooper classes can be used in the Door Kickers game:
- Pointman – the starting class in the game. Cannot wield any primary weapon (such as SMGs or assault rifles), wields only a single secondary weapon (with a large selection of pistols and revolvers, some of which have silenced versions). This makes a Pointman the most mobile, most CQB-ready, fastest-moving and fastest-reacting class in the game, at the cost of limited firepower. Can wear one of 5 available body armors; has two utility pouches for various accessories (such as Flashbang grenades or Tazer), can optionally wear a single support gear item (such as a Spy Camera or a Bolt Cutter).
- Assaulter – the first trooper class that can be unlocked in the game; that is, the second available class. Additionally to the abilities of a Pointman, can wear a primary weapon (with a large selection of SMGs, carbines and assault rifles). Wielding an additional weapons slows down this class slightly; also, this games takes the weapon size into account, so, when wielding a primary weapon, the trooper may be unable to quickly engage the enemy when in close quarter or near the walls. Similarly to the Pointman class, can wear one of 5 available body armors; has two utility pouches for various accessories (such as Flashbang grenades or Tazer), can optionally wear a single support gear item (such as a Spy Camera or a Bolt Cutter).
- Breacher – the second unlockable hence the third available trooper class. Similarly to the Assaulter class, can wear a primary weapon and some kind of handgun for a secondary weapon; contrary to the Assaulter class, the only available primary weapons are various shotguns. The Breacher class trooper can use their shotguns for engaging the enemies, as well as to breach the doors in the fastest way (faster than using a Lockpick or a Dynamic Hammer). The availability of body armors, utility pouches and support gear items is the same as for the Assaulter class.
- Stealth – the third unlockable hence the fourth available trooper class. Similarly to the Assaulter/Breacher classes, can wear a primary weapon and some kind of handgun for a secondary weapon. But, while the selection of secondary weapons is pretty regular (so the Stealth class trooper can wield a non-silenced handgun), all the primary weapons are silenced. Also, this class has some special stealth-related skills, like preventing the auto-engaging the enemies which cannot see the trooper, so the trooper can shoot the unsuspecting enemy on command and when needed. The availability of body armors, utility pouches and support gear items is the same as for the Assaulter or Breacher classes.
- Shield – the fourth unlockable hence the fifth (and the last) available trooper class. Shield class trooper is limited to the primary weapon only, and for the primary weapon, has only a limited selection of handguns (marked “One Hand”, like, “G17 Pistol (One Hand)”) which are therefore unlocked separately from the regular handguns for other classes. While a Shield class trooper cannot wear a secondary weapon and has no utility pouches at all, their support gear items are restricted to five kinds of armor shields (three with Level IIIA protection, being able to cope with Handgun and SMG fire; two with Level III protection, being able to cope with Handgun, SMG and Rifle fire). Also, contrary to any other class in the game, a Shield class trooper can wear no body armor at all, relying to the shield only.
The following weapons can be seen in the Door Kickers game:

It is the only suppressed shotgun in the game, and the only shotgun available to any class besides Breacher (namely to the Stealth class); moreover, the characteristics of the suppressed version are completely the same as of the unsuppressed version, making the unsuppressed version virtually useless. In-game it is modeled in non-suppressed and suppressed (“-SD”) configurations, with the (revolver-style) magazine size of 6; also, it cannot be reloaded using the ejection port.
Grenades & Explosives
Sting-ball grenade

Sting-Ball Grenade is a less-lethal device normally used to incapacitate hostiles with the explosion that shoots rubber balls around. In the game, the explosion of the Stinger grenade causes the people in the area of explosion (normally about 4 meters) to run away, what may change the line of fire preventing the danger to the hostages. An explosion of sting-ball grenade happened too close to the hostile, hostage, or trooper can kill them. The red color band around the body of the grenade is similar to the Stinger grenade (produced and trademarked by Defense Technology) in its “32-Caliber Rubber Balls with OC” variant, though no pepper-spray effects are modeled or mentioned in the game.
Model 7290 flashbang grenade

Taser (Thomas A. Swift's Electric Rifle) is a less-lethal weapon manufactured by Taser International. All trooper classes except Shield can take Taser as one of two utilities rather than a primary or a secondary weapon (that is, keeping the primary/secondary weapon slots available for other weapons); Shield class trooper can wield Taser as a primary weapon.
Breaching charge
An unbranded explosive device that can be mounted to the locked door and exploded on command; can kill people standing too close to the other side of the door.
