The Fall of the Condor (Padeniye kondora ) is a 1982 Soviet drama film directed by Sebastián Alarcón . The plot shows the story of a young soldier Manuel (Evgeniy Leonov-Gladyshev ) in an unnamed Latin American state (Pinochet's Chile is implied) who raises to the personal bodyguard of the military dictator of the state (Sergey Yurskiy ).
