Dzhulbars is a Russian 2020 (filmed 2017) war TV series. In August 1941, the school of service dog breeding of the Soviet Border Guards falls under the German offensive. The cadets of the school with their dogs take the fight, covering the evacuation.
The title of the TV series is a reference to the Soviet 1935 film about the Border Guards service dog named Dzhulbars.

Starshina (Sgt.Maj.) of the Border Guards Yegorych (Aleksandr Marushev ) carries a Nagant M1895 revolver. In firing scenes his standard Nagant is replaced with blank-firing "Blef".

Many Soviet soldiers and border guards are armed with Mosin Nagant M1891 Dragoon rifles. German soldiers also use Mosin Nagant rifles that are probably used in this case due to insufficient number of correct Kar 98k rifles.
