Banshee

Banshee is an American action crime television series created by Jonathan Tropper and David Schickler which ran for four seasons from 2013 to 2016.
The series stars Antony Starr as an unnamed criminal, who has just been released from a fifteen-year prison sentence and flees to the small Pennsylvania town of Banshee in search of his ex-lover Ana (Ivana Milicevic) and a cache of diamonds he and Ana stole 15 years earlier from her father, a ruthless crime lord known as "Mr. Rabbit" (Ben Cross). After an unexpected series of events, the protagonist manages to assume the identity of the town's new sheriff, Lucas Hood. As Sheriff Hood, the protagonist must balance his own criminal ambitions while also dealing out justice in his own way, all while trying to avoid the vengeful Mr. Rabbit and foiling the schemes of local crime boss Kai Proctor (Ulrich Thomsen).
The series premiered on Cinemax on January 11, 2013 and concluded on May 20, 2016.
