|
Adele Hasn't Had Her Dinner Yet is a 1978 Czech fantasy crime comedy movie directed by Oldrich Lipský. Capable and natty American detective Nick Carter (Michal Docolomanský) arrives in Art Nouveau Prague to investigate the mysterious disappearance of big dog in the house Countess Thun (Kveta Fialová) from a locked room during Mozart's Lullaby . Unofficially, he is assigned to Commissioner Ledvinka (Rudolf Hrusínský). Testimony from the baroness's companion Karin (Olga Schoberová) does not help. In the locked room there is only Adele - a carnivorous plant. The detective takes her to his hotel room to be examined, but is assaulted and robbed of Adele by a henchman of Baron Von Kratzmar (Milos Kopecký). This imposter weaves his diabolical plan of revenge on professor of botany Albín Boček (Ladislav Pesek), who let him fail and therefore wants to throw him to the carnivorous plant and sell his beautiful, but naïve, granddaughter Květuška (Nada Konvalinková) to a South American brothel.
