Grand Power Stribog series
The Grand Power Stribog is a pistol-caliber carbine manufactured by Grand Power s.r.o. of Slovakia. The series is named after Stribog, the ancient Slavic god of the wind. The Stribog series consists of several models, each of which are semi-automatic firearms chambered in pistol calibers.
The models are:
- RSR9: a rifle chambered in 9x19mm, fitted with a 13" or 16" barrel.
- SR9: a carbine chambered in 9x19mm, fitted with a 10" barrel and folding stock.
- SP9: a legal pistol chambered in 9x19mm, fitted with an 8" barrel and no stock, with adapters available to fit a pistol brace.
- TR22: a carbine chambered in .22 LR and, fitted with a 10", 12", or 16" barrel and folding stock.
- TT: a legal pistol with the same features of the SP9, but chambered in 7.62x25mm Tokarev.
The Stribog series has several features and placements of controls that are familiar to users of AR-15-style rifles and can mount numerous accessories. In 2019, Grand Power submitted the Stribog AP9 A3S, a fully-automatic variant of the SP9 with a sliding stock, as a possible new submachine gun for the United States Army in response to a competition for a new design. The AP9 A3S would end up losing to the Brügger & Thomet APC9.
