Military Secret (original title Poyedinok ("Duel")) is a 1945 (filmed 1944) Soviet war spy movie directed by Vladimir Legoshin and based on the novel "Voennaya tayna" ("Military Secret") by Lev Sheynin. Soviet engineer Boris Leontyev invents a new powerful weapon. The German intelligence make plans to abduct Leontyev during his participation in the testing of the weapon on the frontline. But Soviet counterintelligence is acquainted about these plans, and Major of State Security Sergeev acts under the name of Leontyev in order to make a trap for the German spy group.
