Evgeniy Samoylov
Evgeniy Valerianovich Samoilov (also spelled Yevgeny Valerianovich Samoilov) (April 16, 1912 — February 17, 2006) was a prominent Soviet screen and stage actor, best known for roles in Shchors (1939), Bright Path (1940), Four Hearts (1941), Six P.M. (1944). He was awarded the title of People's Artist of the USSR in 1974. He was the father of fellow actress Tatyana Samoylova.
