Atlantic, or also titled Titanic: Disaster in the Atlantic, is a 1929 British movie directed by Ewald André Dupont and is based on the sinking of the Titanic in April 1912, this film retells the story of a passenger cruise ship named Atlantic. The luxury liner is on its maiden voyage from Europe to America. Onboard, the mood is boisterous, both among the rich on the upper deck and among the passengers in the lower classes. Like its real counterpart, it is considered unsinkable.
This movie was also filmed in French (Atlantis) and German (Atlantik), which Dupont also directed, but with different actors for each language version.
