Colt 45 is a 2014 French-Belgian action crime drama directed by Fabrice Du Welz. Armorer and shooting instructor at the National Police, Vincent Milès (Ymanol Perset), is an expert in combat shooting. At only 25 years of age, Vincent has skills which are envied by police elites around the world, but he is aloof from his colleagues and stubbornly refuses to take up an invitation to join an elite police unit. His fate changes when he meets Milo Cardena (Joey Starr), a corrupt cop who takes him on an uncontrollable spiral of violence. Vincent is placed into the center of a series of armed robberies, murders, and a fierce war between Major Christian Chavez (Gérard Lanvin) - commander of the BRB and his mentor, Major Luc Denard (Simon Abkarian) - commander of the BRI. Trapped in a powder keg, Vincent will have no choice but to embrace his dark side to survive. The film also stars Alice Taglioni, Philippe Nahon, and Jo Prestia.
The following weapons were used in the film Colt 45:
Vincent Milès (Ymanol Perset) owns a customized Colt MK IV Series 70 pistol, which he inherited from his father. On the shooting range, he lends it to Milo Cardena (Joey Starr).
Vincent Milès (Ymanol Perset) uses a Colt M1911A1 pistol while running a course. Major Christian Chavez (Gérard Lanvin) uses this gun as his sidearm, which is an unlikely choice for French police officers.
Glock 23
Milo Cardena (Joey Starr) carries a Glock 23 pistol. Vincent Milès (Ymanol Perset) is also briefly seen with the pistol.
A Beretta Px4 Storm pistol appears in the hands of Carmini (Anton Yakovlev), after he disarms Captain Isabelle Le Franc (Alice Taglioni). In reality, the Px4 Storm is never issued to French police officers.
One of the policemen during shooting training is seen with a Beretta 90two pistol in his hand. In reality, the 90two is never issued to French police officers.
One of the shooting competition participants shows off a Beretta ARX-160 assault rifle fitted with a GLX-160 grenade launcher to other attendees.
